Illinois Saves Overdose

Drug Overdose Prevention Program (DOPP) Training

All DOPP enrollees are required to watch the following trainings:

Naloxone Training and Education

Naloxone is an FDA approved medication that can stop an opioid overdose. Anyone can easily administer naloxone to save the life of someone overdosing on opioids, including heroin, fentanyl, or prescription medication.

Every DOPP enrolled program must create a training curriculum for training and educating overdose responders. The resources on this portal are for each individual DOPP/OEND program to utilize and tailor to each program’s needs.

Illinois Saves OD is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration through the Opioid State Targeted Response grant administered by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery.
